If you want to support and encourage the Waiheke Local Board to advocate strongly for more or better helicopter controls, please take a couple of minutes to complete the online feedback form for the Draft Waiheke Local Board Plan before 4pm today.
There are several sections in the form. You can choose the one which seems most appropriate to enter your feedback from the following list:
1. How well do you think our plan reflects the needs and aspirations for our community for the next three years? Tell us why.
2. Our people. How well do you think we captured the needs and priorities of Our People in this section? Tell us why and is there anything else you think we should include or consider?
3. Our environment. How well do you think we captured the needs and priorities of ‘Our environment’ in this section? Tell us why and is there anything else you think we should include or consider?
4. Our facilities and open spaces. How well do you think we captured the needs and priorities of ‘Our facilities and open spaces’ in this section? Tell us why and is there anything else you think we should include or consider?
5. Our places. How well do you think we captured the needs and priorities of ‘Our places’ in this section? Tell us why and is there anything else you think we should include or consider?
6. Our economy. How well do you think we captured the needs and priorities of ‘Our economy’ in this section? Tell us why and is there anything else you think we should include or consider?
7. Do you have any other feedback on our proposed Local Board Plan, including how we could better meet our climate change goals or Māori outcome aspirations?
If you’re short of time, just pick the section which seems most relevant and write something like: “Advocate to stop the unfettered and excessive helicopter flights and landings”.
You don’t have to give feedback on all of the sections, but you can if you want to. E.g. if you think helicopter activity impacts on people, environment, open spaces, places, and economy, then you could write something for all of them.
Give your feedback here.
